1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Victor Torres ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use Special Messages for Jira ("the App"), installed on the Atlassian platform.

2. Data the App Processes

Special Messages for Jira is built on the Atlassian Forge platform. We do not collect your data, and the App does not send any of it to servers outside Atlassian. The App processes the following within your Atlassian site:

• Message configuration: the messages Jira administrators create (title, text, style, JQL condition, dates, targeted spaces and work types), with the name of the administrator who created or last changed each one and when.
• Work item data: when someone opens a work item, the app checks the configured JQL conditions against it, as that person, to decide which messages to show. Work item contents are not stored.
• Space and work type lists: read on the admin page so administrators can pick where a message applies.

3. Data Storage

The message configuration is kept in the app's Forge storage, which Atlassian hosts within its own cloud for your site. When the app is uninstalled, Atlassian deletes it according to its Forge data retention rules. No work item data is stored.

4. How the Data Is Used

Data is used only to provide the App's features. It is not used for tracking, profiling, analytics or marketing. This documentation website uses Google Analytics to count page visits. The app itself contains no analytics or tracking.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

The App runs entirely on Atlassian's infrastructure. No customer data is shared with or sent to third parties, and we (the developer) have no access to it.

6. Atlassian Products

Your use of the App is also governed by the Atlassian Cloud Terms of Service. You retain full ownership of your data.
